Video games based on James Camerons Avatar where developed by ubisoft for a number of platforms including The Xbox 360 tm , The PS3 tm, The Wii tm, and PC , The game (except the wii version) uses stereoscopic 3D technoligy that is based on the same technoligy used in the film the game receved mixed reviews while it is very impressive graphicly its story and gameplay are very shallow compared to film the games are based on

After seeing the movie, I wanted to explore the planet. I tried the game on X-360. I liked it. Other hard-core gamers say its a little slow but you have to go to the other areas to complete missions so you get to travel all over the planet. I got a 7 day free trial at www.playavatarfree.com
