Hey guys. Now I've seen many movies. Many with amazing CG, and such. Amazing captivating stories, among other things. But this movie has become more then anything I have ever wished to see, or seen. What I realize is that this movie has probably set the bar for ALL movies yet to come. From the love story, to the amazingly dynamic facial expressions, to the gorgeous forest. All I have to say about this movie is good things. There is an uncountable amount of symbolic moments in this movie. If you do your best to understand, you can see quite a bit. The biggest one that hit me was the Native American situation I saw. If you try to understand, you see it's almost exactly what settlers did to the Native Americans, but in the movie, it was a GOOD ending.. The desecration of the Black Hills in search of Gold(Unabtanium.)
And countless other symbolism, like mankind's constant search for riches, even if it means destroying a culture we do not understand. The simple beauty of how James Cameron depicted this was so great, it was Disgustingly beautiful. Haha.
We see that in this movie, a director is finally standing up and showing what we are doing. And the years he took to make this was not in vain, it is simply perfect. The only bad thing I have to say about this movie is that it has a predictable story-line. But that isn't really a bad thing, being able to know whats happening before it happens, then the movie blinds you with how it does, is simply stunning.
I have never actually watched a movie(Other then Gladiator, but not nearly as much as Avatar) that touched my heart and soul so deeply. Its almost as if it IS my heart and soul captured on the movie screen.
I cannot describe a word in the world to depict how much I love this movie. Hands down, head down, bowing down, the best movie. I have ever seen.

I loved this movie and regard it as the best I have ever seen. It definately deserves 5 out of 5. I think too much is made of the predicatable plot. Most Hollywood movies are predicatable and many are actually based on books where we already know the story.

Besides, I liked the ending. It was the ending I wanted and the ending I got. So I am happy.

Up until now, I have not actually had a favourite movie. But I do now.
