Try this next time you 'google': Avatar, Movie, -Airbender. (Include that minus sign to remove any search terms from your results.

Btw, the Airbender movie's trailer looked decent, although it's still lacking a bit. The animated series is a great series, if anyone's interested in anime, and for the sake of our Avatar, the Airbender's movie will not contain 'Avatar' when it's released later.

Avatar the last air bender (the animated series) is quite well written and addresses many issues spoken about in the James camerons Avatar , it looks at
War and its very real consequences in quite a deep way , being based on Eastern philosophy (but never using direct religous refrences ) there are many symbolic refrences shown that could easly be applyed to real world issues effecting us all , as to rather they can make a Live action Movie based on the show that will work only time will tell as the orignal charter has a very worthwell story to tell.

I'm a big fan of the Anime series Avatar: The Last Airbender. Like has been mentioned already, the show promotes great values not entirely out of line with James Cameron's film. Themes including destiny, personal responsibility, acceptance of diversity, moderation and sustainability, self-knowledge and awareness, and anti-war are all explored. Not to mention its tremendously entertaining and well-written, with memorable characters - my favorite is Sokka! (The live action version of the Anime show doesn't look like it could be anywhere near as good, to me, so I have no plans to see it.) But many people on this forum would probably like the Anime show. :) Do you find this valuable?
