James Cameron in talks to go to Alberta Tarsands

I am excited to report that James Cameron is in discussion to do a walking tour of the tarsands and lend his insight on the situation and his widespread popularity to bring attention to this ongoing fiasco.
He had responded to the AVATARSANDS campaign with appreciative words and kindness - but this step would be his outright support for shining global attention on a hugely ignored hotspot in the dirtyoil economy. Will post as soon as I know more for all of you who love the work that is being done to connect up global issues with a global visionary! Do you find this valuable?

He so is! Confirmed that Cameron is going to have a look and document what he sees - oil executives, grounds, local cities, province. What is our global energy vision? How do we make sure that it supports the planet and the people on it!
