Avatar is a rip-off of Bishop's Gait

All along I thought James Cameron was handed a script about Avatar and simply produced it. Apparently too much credit was extended towards him because he wants to take credit for the ideas in the movie. Avatar is not original. In 2003 a book callled Bishop's Gait was published. All the relevant ideas in Avatar concerning the story-line and sequence of events can be directly linked back to what happens in Bishop's Gait. I spent five years writing Bishop's Gait. The level of fraud being passed off on the cinema-going patrons can be proven here - bishopsgait.blogspot.com - These are your true Avatar heroes. 2  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

I've heard the movie resembled up to 12 different stories. In fact in highschool I remember reading a series of short stories in english class that included a parpalegic that was given a blue alien body to help explore a new planet. At the end of the story his human body died and he was fully within his new alien body. This was well before 2003. It's entirely possible JC never read Bishops Gait and pulled from various influences that he'd grown up with. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
