From what we know about Avatar 2 we know it will envolve in some way the oceans on pandora but this does not mean that it will be an underwater film as a whole We know filming has been delayed by the earthquake activity and we know James Cameron is developing a Sub to film in one of deapest locations on earth and that film taken from the depths will in some way be used in the film and that many of the actors in the first film will return,

Hola!I had a very interesting revelation the other day, while watching an interview of James cameron for MTV. He spoke of making the sequel of Avatar a piece of entertainment but also to raise awareness of the devastation that our oceans are sustaining by industrialized world...and all of a sudden, I saw it! Ladies and gentlemen, he is going to reproduce the disaster of the golf of Mexico with Pandoran makeup. He is going to bring back the RDA in the oceans of Pandora, huge drilling platforms to exploit the ocean floor abundant with Unobtanium. And of course, the dramatic impact on the ecosystems of Pandora. I would bet my neck that's going to be the plot. Do you find this valuable? |

"Hola! I am hoping James Cameron does not do the "RDA strikes back" with Avatar 2, I know he took constructive critcism from native peoples in equador on the epic battle in the orignal film as being the usual hollywood way of solving problems I know cameron was taken by what was said and has made claims of a story change , JC connection with water (ocean exploration) being one of his main intrests in life, One can think of a posabe planet wide issue with the oceans and who knows what amasing life that might live in them, its posabe decaying RDA technoligy could be causing a disruption in the oceans , or the the RDA may have bases underwater somehow only Cameron knows for sure, Do you find this valuable? |

"Brian, Hoping that James Cameron does not bring back the RDA in the sequel to Avatar is like hoping that George Lucas had not brought back the Empire in 'The Empire strikes back' or hoping that Peter Jackson had not brought back Mordor in 'The Two Towers'. The mythology of Avatar is closely connected to the RDA, the evil corporation. The bad guys. It makes only sense that JC brings them back this time with more highly sophisticated weapons and vehicles (his true passion as scifi-action film maker) to kick the blue ass monkeys. I mean, you could try to invent something like a highly advanced Roman-like evil civilization from a neighbouring moon invading and slavering the Na'Vi and transform it into an epic Pandoran 'Spartacus'...but that would feel wrong and too off-topic (Avatar's environmental message). So the idea of a Pandoran Gulf of Mexico kind of crisis with the adult son of Jake and Neytiri and the united people of Pandora striking the RDA ocean drilling platforms with an aerial fleet of hundred Leonoperyx and kicking ass makes perfect sense to me. Of course, it's just my imagination going wild...What we will see on screen will hopefully be something we have not yet seen! ;) 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
