Avater review Opinion

I see some examples I aggre with and some I feel are untrue , one is the subject of race on this issue I think people are reading too much into what others have said, I have never found the film racest and think the film would work no mater what race was shown (the navi avatars themselves are raceless and realy cant be labeled such) , The second is Calling the Navi "Alien" I feel its the other way around as we are the guests on there world, and by "example" its the NaVi that give "Us" The Alien "Label" the Leader of the Navi Clan uses this example when jake is introduced (His alien smell fills my nose) the man machiene refrence compares the "avatar link" to a video game experence , this technoligy simply does not exsist in this time and video games are only a one way conection and shallow experence compared to a true 2 way nero-link that jake experences driving the avatar the, film does use a lot of Clichés and has a very predictable story line so it does have its shortcomings but they have not made the "perfect" movie yet . Do you find this valuable?

It's a great movie in the entertainment world. This is that movie which entertained the world first time in 3D. Too much entertaining and full of action & adventures scenes and all things which make a movie best for it's audience.

"Why r all the Navi played by people of color
"
There are a few "posabe" reasons because the Na'Vi mirror real native peoples (they may be tall and blue but they have the same cultural and spiritual practices as native peoples on earth and we do "see" this connection) James Cameron "may" chosen to have african cultural heratage and spiritual examples to run under the films fantasy shell by having the navi (who are motion captured and and have there face expression driven directly by a person of african hearitage may be part of the body langage behind the NaVi themselves, take a look at this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGwwpqEyi2A&feature=related Now please understand the speaker is seeing the film from his own cultural perspective and could be bias , its also posabe he simply thought the actors he picked best represented the chartrers played , I in no way think avatar is raciest , once you understand the cultural connections under the NaVi and how the capture system works its very posabe its a of the navi underlying cultural heartige we feel but dont see.

Watching the 3rd disk in the collectors addition I see the Navi cast is mutli-race. Review the part about production of Avatar. I saw Black, Native American and white cast members. South Pacific Islanders performed the stunt work. Do you find this valuable?

Avatar has cultural examples from all around the world , and I in no way feel its a race driven film , the cast of extras in the film include peoples from all walks of life in many ways I feel James Cameron made Avatar to be "A Mirror" to the way we look at race,
